Why don't you check out our new Wikipedia page? Click here. Year 6 spent a day making paper sculptures. Please click here to view some photos. We thought that it was time to introduce you to...
Lizzie and Spyro are the school bearded dragons. Adult bearded dragons can reach approximately 45-60 cm from head to tail and live for up to fifteen years. When threatened, they will expand a spiny pouch under their jaw, as well as inhale air and puff up to make them appear larger. The pouch resembles a beard, lending the animal their name. Ours arrived in May 2006 when they were about 8cm long. Since then they have grown dramatically and can be found lurking in the tank in Middle School. They are extremely friendly, love to be handled, and enjoy treats of peeled grapes pieces, melon, tomatoes and locusts! Year 6 have been working towards their Cycling Proficiency tests under the watchful eye of Judith and Patrol Cyclist Martin Hinchcliffe PCSO 8188. Once again Year 5 Tudor Day was a great success. A big thank you goes to Master Dave (from 1568) who visited us to deliver a very informative talk about life in Tudor Times. The children then went on to take part in a number of Tudor activities that included Pike Training, Pomander Making, Tudor Writing and creating a Tudor 'Argos' Catalogue!
